Jerome Singleton, Jr.

(1986-) Paralympic athlete Jerome Singleton, Jr. was born in Greenwood, SC. Born with a partial tibia in his right leg, he was only 18 months old when doctors amputated his leg below the knee. This did not stop Jerome from competing in the Paralympic Games, where he won a gold medal in 4x100m t42-t46 and a silver medal in the 100m T44 at the 2008 Beijing games.
